Take a quick look under your Toyota Tacoma or Toyota 4Runner and you won't find anything to protect your vulnerable and expensive transfer case. The engine and transmission are just as bad. Apparently, Toyota didn't really think you'd be playing on real trails with your Tacoma or 4Runner. We know you're gonna play hard!!

These skid plates are made of 3/16" thick steel and powder coated semi-gloss black for a durable and attractive finish. They mount solidly to the truck's frame and are specially designed for easy bolt-up installation with minimal drilling. Unfortunately, since the chassis is fully boxed, the transfer case skid plate requires the drilling of four holes for self-tapping bolts.
