When James Thomas founded RDM Offroad over 3 years ago, it was with a passion and desire to provide the off-road community with the service and parts selection not found in the larger chain stores. “I was always turned off by salespeople that were more interested in making a bigger commission than actually helping me determine which parts I really needed or wanted”, said James.  With the steady growth of RDM’s online retail business (sales more than doubling each year), a point was reached where a full-service fabrication facility and retail/service/installation center was the natural next step. To meet that need for expansion RDM Offroad turned to Jon Krellwitz, owner of Glendora, CA based Crossroads Fabrication.  After many successful years of off-road racing, including three Baja 1000 class wins, Jon began Crossroads Fabrication in November of 2009 as a race car prep and fabrication workshop.  The company has since carved out a niche doing high quality custom metal fabrication and service/installation work for off-road enthusiasts.  Jon said, “Partnering Crossroads with James and RDM Offroad is really an exciting deal, it gives us the ability to be a one stop shop to provide parts, service, and quality fabrication all under the same roof.”
