What a great design! Does not compromise leg room at all. A few suggestions for your installation: Prior to feeding them through the speaker openings down to the floor, wrap them with masking tape to save your paint or powdercoat. Once in position, it helps to have an extra set of hands to help line up all 3 pieces and start threading the bolts.
